Ms. Weber nominated this young lady for the #goodnewscalloftheday for her continuously going out of her way to help others and think of her friends in her room before herself. She gave me two compliments in the short time I walked her down to my office. What a privilege it is to have this young lady at Journey Elementary.
Due to inclement weather, HSD facilities have been closed Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2. Due to Journey Elementary being closed Saturday, Dec. 1, Breakfast with Santa is cancelled. If you brought in bake sale items, you may reclaim them by 4pm today. Items not picked up by 4pm today will be donated to various organizations. Classroom baskets will be auctioned at a later date. Look for more information to come in the Tiger Tuesday email. If you have any questions, please call the office.
This young lady did an awesome job yesterday and was our #goodnewscalloftheday. She had a few firsts working with the 90 learners in her cohort during morning meeting. She took a responsible risk and raised her hand to give another learner a shout out and she stood up in front of everyone when another learner gave her a shout out. It has been great to see her confidence continued to grow in #personalizedlearning #greatjob
