A special thank you to our PTO for bringing in the Great Plains Zoomobile! The presenter brought in 4 different animals from the zoo and taught our learners about their habitats and senses. They even got to pet a snake!

Derek has been teaching Cohort C about sign language since early September. Each week on Word Wednesday, he reviews previously taught words and teaches 3 to 5 new words in sign language. The cohort then practices signing those words. He has taught over 30 words to the cohort!

Freedom is once again participating in the One Book One School program! Each year we select a book and the entire school reads the book at home and in the classroom. We've been dropping hints, but last Friday we finally revealed our book - The Wizard of Oz! More details to come!
